Welcome to the NEW Legacy Farm & Lawn website! November 1, 2008 marked the beginning of a new era for four Southwest Missouri John Deere equipment stores. Barton County Implement Co. of Lamar, Murrell Equipment Company of Carthage, Purinton’s of Lockwood, and Joplin Farm and Lawn of Joplin, have come together to form Legacy Farm and Lawn.
The families behind the four original dealerships have a long history of serving the people of Southwest Missouri. The new name, Legacy Farm and Lawn, was chosen to recognize the years already invested by the previous generation, coupled with the future generations serving our community in the years to come.
